Describe a typical day in your role?

Arrive early, to get any stats and forecasts ready for my morning meeting. A brief meeting with the team just before 9am to make sure we get the day off to the right start. Being on-hand with my team, helping with any requirement, and spending time with newer members, offering coaching and making sure they are feeling happy.

What does it take to be successful at GEAB?

A hard work-ethic and a lot of self-motivation. We’re not like other workplaces. We treat our staff like adults and trust them to work to the best of their ability.

They’re working for a well-paying and growing company, with the commission, the atmosphere, and the chance to change your life.

Career goal?

I am currently working towards becoming an Operations Manager, so I want to learn as much as I can from my superiors.

Motivational motto:

If someone offers you a position you aren’t sure you’re capable of, just take it, and learn along the way.

The best career advice you’ve been given?

Be willing to take criticism and learn as much as possible.

Describe a typical day in your role?

Morning meeting followed by tendering and getting ready for deals I have on that day. Touching base with clients and making sure everything is in order for my day.

Earning enough commission to buy my dream car and get a mortgage on my dream house.

What does it take to be successful at GEAB?

Hard-work ethic and being eager to learn and get better is a key factor.

Career goal?

My aim is to have my mortgage paid off in the next 5 years and build the leading holiday let business in the north east.

Coffee is for closers. Focus on yourself not others. Find a way it can be done not a reason it can’t.

I like to mix it up, don’t make me choose one! Anything that makes me believe I’m the top dog.

Always want to learn and better yourself, don’t let people tell you it can’t be done. IT CAN!
